Welcome to DECATRON

DECATRON, or Decarbonizing Logistics Fleets in Urban Transport Ecosystems, is a collaborative research initiative focused on supporting the transition toward lower-emission urban logistics in Indonesia. By bringing together evidence-based research, innovation, and cross-sector collaboration, DECATRON seeks to better understand the challenges and opportunities surrounding the decarbonization of logistics fleets within urban transport systems.

As urban logistics plays an essential role in economic activity and everyday life, its environmental impact is an increasingly important policy challenge. DECATRON works across research, policy development, pilot projects, stakeholder collaboration, capacity building, and public engagement to develop and communicate practical, evidence-based approaches for a more sustainable logistics ecosystem.

Through this platform, DECATRON will share research and data, logistics insights, sustainability knowledge, urban mobility perspectives, project updates, and collaboration stories. Together, we aim to build a stronger evidence base and foster meaningful collaboration toward cleaner, more efficient, and more sustainable urban logistics.
